MCSE is back, but not as you know it

Microsoft has changed its MCP (Microsoft certification program) for IT professionals and developers.

They have created three levels of credentials – Associate, Expert and Master. This helps professionals in planning out a clear career path, selecting which certifications are needed to reach a certain credential level.

Four new designations are being either introduced, or re-instated:
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM)

MCSE, a credential which has been cemented in the minds of professionals, despite being discontinued years ago, is once again an active part of the MCP. Microsoft has reinvented MCSE for Cloud. The all new MCSE proves that you have certified competency to tackle new technologies. MCSE is for those professionals who plan to implement cloud solutions for their organisations and is the target credential for IT professionals and developers who have expertise in working with Microsoft technology solutions.
