A survey by Frost & Sullivan, on behalf of (ISC)2reveals that security professionals overwhelmingly feel that new skills are indeed needed for Cloud Computing. One of the major challenges cited for Cloud computing is the need for additional training. A detailed understanding of cloud computing and its associate technologies have been rated as highly desired by information security (92 per cent and 82 per cent worldwide, respectively).
Out of the 10,413 information security professionals surveyed, 74% affirmed that new skills are needed for cloud computing.
