Apple has released its first certification program for Mountain Lion which offers a training guide and IT certification for OSX 10.8. The learning guide for the ‘Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration 10.8’ certification is available free through a PDF file found here. Apple does charge $65 to take the online exam, but offers a free retake if failed the first time. As of yet, Apple has not upgraded its other IT certifications for OS X 10.8.Apple states on its certification page that the program is designed for those who “want to integrate a Mac into an existing Windows or other standards-based network”. Adding “We'll guide you through the process of setting up your system to take full advantage of network services such as directory services, file sharing, printing, email, and more.”
