Here's How Twitter Is Laying The Foundation For Its Own Photo Sharing Service - Business Insider

Recent rumors are abuzz that  Twitter is soon about to start its own photo service. As Twitter gradually starts rolling outs its own  url  shortener and mobile apps , a photo service will be a natural corollary for it

Earlier Twitter had tried to buy out Twitpic.. but backed out after the  "High valuation " quoted by Twitpic  



Businessinsider reports that Twitter plans to  " integrate the  new photo service by embedding photos directly into the "details" tab for tweets.

In this example below, you can see that the Instagram photo we tweeted shows up as both a link to Instagram, and also embedded directly into the Twitter interface
