The chart above shows how connected devices are going to dominate our lives in the coming year.. PC sales clearly has taken a severe beating with the last 7 years saw a mere increase of 7 million increase in sales from 2008 to 2015 (projected) from 150million to 157million.
The biggest rise has been in the proliferation of feature phones which grew from 921 million in 2008 to 1570million in 2015 ( projected )
Smartphone sales have grown by aprox 100% from 252 million in 2008 to estimated 776 million projected by 2015. Tablet sales has seen a phenomenal rise of over 6 times from 65million to 445 million by 2015 as projected by statista. In 2014 tablet sales exceeded 265million
