Bill Gates? You’ve got competition…

Most eight-year olds these days love playing computer games. Shafay Thobani is creating them.

Shafay, an eight year old from Pakistan, has just qualified as the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). He mastered complex internet protocol and domain name systems during a 13-month course.

On April 9, 2012, Shafay secured a score of 91 per cent in the relevant exams, making him the world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) at the age of eight years and 24 days. The boy certified in MCTS in Microsoft Windows 7 Configuration and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2.

In hindsight, had he heard of Firebrand, Shafay could have achieved his certifications in 11 days. He would have been the age of seven with the certs!
