post penguin 4.0 google algo changes : 5 changes in seo on page factors

In September 2016. Google finally announced that its GooglePenguin 4.0 was finally real time .What this meant was that the Google Penguin update was finally real time .According to Google Search Blog  , the new Penguin update  was now in now real-time and baked into the "core" organic algorithm. of Google .Also last month revealed that websites that were hit by Google Penguin also showed signs of recovering. According to Google, Penguin is now part of its core algorithm  and Penguin is now a part of its more than 200 seo ranking factors  which  now runs in real time within the core search algorithm.

"Post google penguin4.0 update: how seo factors will change in real time "

Historically, the list of sites affected by Penguin was periodically refreshed at the same time. Once a webmaster considerably improved their site and its presence on the internet, many of Google's algorithms would take that into consideration very fast, but others, like Penguin, needed to be refreshed. However now webmasters needs to factor in the fact that  Penguin's data is refreshed in real time, so changes will be visible much faster, typically taking effect shortly after Google recrawl and or  reindex a page.

reliance jio edges past china mobile to become the worlds biggest network data carrier

"internet download speeds on Jio had dropped from 11.31 Mbps to 8.77 Mbps as of last month"

In less than 60 days of its launch,India’s Reliance Jio is already seeing and handling more data traffic on its network than any other telecom operator in the world. The '4G-only' Reliance Jio network is currently seeing data usage of 16,000TB per day, according to analysts at financial services company Credit Suisse. This is by far the largest data usage any carrier handles on a typical day, the analysts noted. In comparison, China Mobile registers a data usage of 12,000TB on its network every day, whereas Vodafone Global fares 6,000TB per day. India’s largest industrial house, RIL launched the Reliance Jio network with much fanfare and enticing 'Welcome Offer' to the public on Sept. 5. Under the offer, Jio is giving users 4GB of 4G data and unlimited voice calls each day. The company is also offering users access to a fleet of music, movies, and TV streaming services at no cost.

Reliance Jio announced earlier this month that it has over 16 million subscribers on its network. The company also claimed that it was adding between 600,000 to 1.1 million subscribers to its network each day. However network speed remains an issue. Although users wont be complaining given that its free till december.Earlier this month, Ookla, the Seattle-based company that makes the popular Speedtest.net app announced that download speeds on Jio had dropped from 11.31 Mbps to 8.77 Mbps as of last month.

Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser was first created in 1895 and was introduced in 1876 by Carl Conrad & Co. of St. Louis, Missouri,, in Budweis, which is a place in the Czech Republic.
The newest Budweiser beer was launched worldwide in May 2008; this is called Bud Light Lime, which is basically Bud Light with a natural lime juice twist .Budweiser has grown to become one of the highest selling beers in the United States, and is available in over 80 markets worldwide although,  trademark disputes, does not necessarily allow the brand all under  the Budweiser name. It is made with up to 30% rice in addition to hops and barley malt.[The brand is the biggest buyer on the American rice market, and for a 17-year stretch from 1970 to 1987, Budweiser and similar brews accounted for up to 30 percent of all rice consumption by Americans.

Despite decreasing sales in the U.S., the "King of Beers" continues to grow in China, Russia, and Brazil-and volume has risen 6.4 percent. As one of Anheuser-Busch InBev's key global brands, Bud gets heavy marketing support, as well as a boost from acquisitions and innovation. Budweiser is also focusing on solidifying the brand by deepening its connection with consumers. The global rallying cry, "Grab Some Buds," with its promise of good times and the Budweiser Happy Hour app inviting consumers to "join the party," keeps the brand relevant to its young male target

Twitter, Spotify and Reddit taken offline by a DDoS attack. Is anyone safe!?

Distributed Denial of Serivce (DDoS) has struck again, this time knocking some of the largest websites offline including the likes of Twitter, Spotify and Reddit.

Domain Name Servers (DNS) act as the Internet’s phone book. They facilitate your request to go to a certain webpage and make sure you are taken to the right place. So, when the DNS provider that gives you access to some of the world’s largest sites is hacked by a DDoS attack, you and I can't access those websites.

The attack happened early this morning. Some websites are coming back for some users, but problem looks by no means to be fully resolved.

Dyn posted the following update on its website: “Starting at 11:10 UTC on October 21th-Friday 2016 we began monitoring and mitigating a DDoS attack against our Dyn Managed DNS infrastructure. Some customers may experience increased DNS query latency and delayed zone propagation during this time. Updates will be posted as information becomes available".

Here’s a list of websites that readers have told us they are having trouble:
  • Reddit
  • Spotify
  • Esty
  • Twitter
  • PayPal
  • Yammer
  • Wired.com
  • Yelp
  • Starbucks
  • Airbnb
As these businesses slowly return to functioning as they should, a lot of us may just shrug it off and return to re-tweeting and streaming music. But often these attacks are used as 'smokescreens' to hack your personal and confidential information. So stay up to date with how this story unfolds.

The frequency of DDoS attacks have sky-rocketed in the past couple of years and this attack only confirms this reality. Having increased 125% over the past year and with more than 2,000 attacks observed worldwide by Arbor Networks, its time you secure your business.

The size and duration of these attacks is also on the rise with a 35% increase in attack duration and a 73% increase in attack size since last year. Worryingly, the average size of an attack is 986Mbps, enough to take most organisations completely offline.

Make sure you're not next

Firebrand Training are offering a DDoS Defence in a Day training course aimed at teaching you the skills to avoid being the next headline of a DDoS attack. We’ll educate you on the growing threat and ramifications of a DDoS attack.

In just one day you'll:
  1. Understand a DDoS attack, how it's executed and the implications to your business
  2. Experience demonstrations of DDoS attacks and their effects in real-time
  3. Learn the tools to detect, analyse and mitigate DDoS attacks
DDoS attacks have become commonplace. Learn the skills to protect your business before it’s too late.

Get the skills to defend against a DDoS attack!

Falling victim to a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack can cost your business £1.2 million in damages. In the past year alone, DDoS attacks have increased 125% in frequency and 35% in attack duration and the average DDoS attack is now large enough to throw most organisations completely offline.

It’s time you ask yourself, how well can I defend myself and my business from a DDoS attack?

To help you answer this and get educated on the growing threat and consequences of a DDoS attack, Firebrand have launched a one-day DDoS Defence training course in the heart of London this December. In this short, accelerated training you’ll:
  • Understand a DDoS attack, how it’s executed and the implications to your business.
  • Experience demonstrations of DDoS attacks and their effects in real-time
  • Learn the tools to detect, analyse and mitigate DDoS attacks
If you're looking to avoid the relentless, everyday threats of a DDoS attack, this is the event for you. You’ll leave us with a clear understanding of what a DDoS threat is and how you can bolster your defence against such attacks.

What is a DDoS attack and why do I need to know about it?

A DDoS attack is an attempt to overwhelm an online service with traffic from multiple sources. In short, it prevents legitimate users from accessing a server’s information or services because it is overloaded or ‘flooded’ with requests.

The ramifications of this kind of attack on your business are huge. The costs of being forced offline can exceed £100,000 per hour. If you’re not as fortunate, costs may escalate up into the millions. This was found in a survey where 21% of IT professionals said a DDoS attack would cost their business more than £50,000 per hour. Following this, 52% of consumers are found to lose trust in your organisation as a result of the outage.

The potential repercussions can include; financial losses, reputational damage, consumer agitation and legal issues.

On our DDoS Defence in a day event, you will not only learn what DDoS is and why it should top your chief of security's list of fears, but you'll also learn the real-life practical skills you can use to defend your business.

Think this won’t happen to you?

There’s no doubt that DDoS attacks are now commonplace yet there is still a clear disconnect between people acknowledging the risk of DDoS and doing something to mitigate it. With 124,000 DDoS attacks observed worldwide each week, the failure to prepare yourself for this threat means it’s a matter of when and not if you join the long list of organisations thrown offline.

And it’s not just small businesses that need to be worried. The BBC, MI5, HSBC and PayPal are all recent victims of a DDoS attack. The damages range from being forced offline for several hours to millions in damages. PayPal experienced 3.5 million in damages and had 100 workers spend three weeks repairing the damage following a DDoS attack.

Here’s (some of) what you’ll cover:

  • Demonstrations of DoS attack tools and their effect
  • Using simple widely available tools to launch DoS attacks to highlight the skill levels required
  • The concepts of DDoS; Moving from a single source to multiple sources, amplification and reflection
  • Demonstration of Botnet launching a DDoS attack, controlled from a single source
  • Mitigation measures for DoS and DDoS, including services provided and methods used
  • NCA national DDoS strategy

What you’ll get:

In addition to excellent training from one of our most experienced cyber security experts, you’ll receive:
  • Five free EC-Council CSCU exam vouchers worth £495: The Certified Secure Computer User exam is an easy way to benchmark the IT security knowledge of you and your staff. These will be provided before the course.
  • Seven hours of learning towards maintaining your certifications with CPEs: Contribute to Continual Professional Education for maintaining certifications from IT security vendors including EC-Council, (ISC)2 and ISACA.
  • Courseware and tools: All course materials including access to the tools demonstrated will be provided for future use.
  • Lunch, snacks and refreshments: These will be provided throughout the day.

Who should attend?

This course, which combines both theory and practical examples is ideally suited to both technicians and managers responsible for cyber security. Whether you're defending on the front line or managing strategy, this course will be of benefit in preventing DoS.

a dynamic website using Content management system:must have seo features

A dynamic website is a website that is built by using a template and a CMS. Content management system gives you control on how do you create a your web page pulling in information from various sources from a database. That means  the web pages does not exist unless someone builds them for you. For example you run a online shopping website and sell more than 10,000 products which you sell online . For creating a website such as this. You are not going to build a 10,000 web pages each for each product manually. Instead you use a content management system to build the pages dynamically on the fly.
A CMS actually generates the page which a search spider crawls by taking the information in your database and plugging it into a template web page so that the CMS creates the tags, content and the code which ultimately is seen by the search engines. However one important thing to remember is its extremely essential to have a search marketing friendly CMS for creating a dynamic website.Any CMS that allows you to completely have access to these individually pages on a granular level alllows you to create tags, meta tags, keywords and titles are considered search friendly. Having these features allows you also to have a control on the entire content of the web pages. You should be able to make changes in the tags, H1 tags, edit keywords and descriptions.

In short any CMS which does not allow you to control individual page wise level seo.. is not seo friendly. You can use wordpress or Pixelsilk ,which are both open source. For search keep these things in mind when you are deciding the CMS 1) It should be able to customise HTML templates 2) Should allow you to produce unique Title tags' 3) You should be able to add meta description keywords on your own4) produce and change H1,H2 h3 tags at will 5)categorise and create content by groups

billon dollar companies who evades taxes by offshoring money

The majority of Fortune 500 companies stash their cash away from the reach of United States authorities in tax havens around the world, keeping $90 billion out of the country’s coffers and placing an extra burden on American citizens, In 2013, Apple, GE, Microsoft, Pfizer and Merck rounded out the top five in the amount of profit held offshore in subsidiary shell companies, often just post office boxes, located in countries with corporate tax rates far lower than those in the United States, according to the study, conducted by the U.S. Public Interest Research Group and the Center for Tax Justice.

Under current U.S. tax code, these companies can defer paying taxes on the offshore money indefinitely since corporations do not have to pay income tax on their overseas profits until that money is brought into the U.S. Experts say the tax rules that allow this were put in place due to lobbying by the companies that reap the benefits.

how many form fields is the ideal for cta landing page forms

Best practices for creating CTA forms: Using forms  for creating a call to action page in your landing page :Forms are your best methods of collecting user information and customer data points. The amount of data ad information you ask for ( the number of form fields you have in the form should tally directly with the degree of upfront prospects screening you wish to filter your qualified leads or information you need to qualify a lead as moderate, hot and warm)
Most often visitors perceive value of benefit in exchange for their personal data. For example users  give their details based on the demand of your proposition. How important is the value of your product or service offering:When a visitor perceives something as more valuable they are willing to release more information. Conversely the lower the perceived value.. the lower will be the filters which user will be willing to part with their personal information.
A customer may be willing to part with their credit card for a one month trial or a subscription offfer, but they would not be willing to part with the same credit card number for a ebook.your basic point of action should be to elevate the power of offering or promising something which they have not been exposed or seen earlier . Sure that depends upon your product if you wish to hand them freebies or wish to capture only the email id and phone number

Ultimately its a wise strategy to keep your form filter set at capturing information like email id/mobile number. as form fatigue tends to grip the online user and they will over a time will part with only a few information before they move elsewhere. I usually recommend a form having no more than 3 form fields
First and last name Email ID Phone number If you have more than these 3 fields, pls designate the forms with mandatory for those fields which are must for filling the form and those which are non mandatory. For Business to Business companies you might want to inlclude :business email :Title and Number of employees

google confirms sites hit by google penguin 4 years ago are recovering

Those webmasters who had been hit by Google Penguin can now rejoice. A recent Moz posts " shows that sites which had been hit by Google Penguin " is showing increased traffic from Google after a long two-year wait. Post the  latest Penguin update rolled out in late September and into early October 2016. This roll-out is unusual in many ways, and it only now seems to be settling down. In the past couple of weeks, we've seen many reports of recoveries from previous Penguin demotions. On October 7th, Gary Illyes from Google said that the Penguin roll-out was in the "final stage" (presumably, the removal of demotions) and would take a "few more days". As of this writing, it's been five more days.
Google representatives are confirming details about the new Penguin both publicly and privately, and algorithm flux matches the general timeline. Perhaps more importantly, we're seeing many anecdotal reports of Penguin recoveries shown in the image above

Also websites  that track websites hit by Google Penguin have reported that " the kind of hit websites had taken after Penguin Update is slowly showing signs of recovering.

Massive changes to Microsoft Certifications

Just yesterday Microsoft surprised the IT Pro industry with a complete revamp of their technical certifications. They launched five new Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certifications, three new Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certifications and will be retiring 13 existing certs. It was also announce that the way you certify is changing, a change that is important you understand.

This blog will look to dissect the changes made by helping you understand what’s new, what’s retiring, how you can achieve these new certifications and the process of recertification.

What’s new?

New Certifications:
On September 26th Microsoft launched eight new certifications, and announced the retirement of 13 older certifications and changed the way you recertify. Let's take a look at what this means for you and your certifications:

The new certifications have been listed below:

  • MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure - focusing on skills validation for Windows Server and Microsoft Azure
  • MCSE: Mobility - focusing on skills validation for Windows Client and Enterprise Mobility Suite
  • MCSE: Data Management and Analysis - focusing on skills validation for both on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft data products and services

  • MCSA: Universal Windows Platform - focusing on implementing Universal Windows Platform apps that offer a compelling user experience

The new certification process:

In addition to the new certifications, Microsoft have now changed the way you certify. This is a throwback to the past where historically you could certify via a series of elective exams, rather than a set pathway.

Attaining a new MCSE/MCSD certifications can be achieved by holding the prerequisite MCSA certification and passing one elective exam from a choice of 5 to 10 options. Effectively Microsoft have now made it easier to secure MCSE and/or MCSD certifications as there is just one exam to pass, where previously there would have been two. Furthermore, all new MCSA exams require you to pass two elective exams from up to a choice of five.

This MCSD certification can be re-earned every calendar year by passing an additional elective exam.

The recertification process:

Recertification is dead. The requirement of passing a recertification exam every two to three years to keep you credential in the Active section of your transcript has been scrapped.

You will no longer need to recertify the new MCSE/MCSD credentials, they remain on the Active section of your transcript once gained. You do however have the option to re-earn your certification every year by passing an additional elective exam. Whilst not a requirement this validates both your growth in Microsoft product knowledge, keeping pace with rapid advancements of Microsoft technologies – where new features are launched weekly.

As a result of this switch, recertification exams are retiring will be retiring. Multiple new electives will launch on a yearly cycle to ensure you can re-earn your certification relevant to the latest technology upgrades.

Retiring certifications:

Additional to the 8 new certifications, Microsoft have announced the retirement of 13 current certifications. The list of certification set to retire is listed below:
  • MCSE: Server infrastructure
  • MCSE: Private Cloud
  • MCSE: Data Platform
  • MCSE: Business Intelligence
  • MCSE: Enterprise Devices and Apps
  • MCSE: SharePoint
  • MCSE: Communication
  • MCSE: Messaging
  • MCSD: Application Lifecycle Management
  • MCSD: Universal Windows Platform
  • MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect
  • MCSD: Web Applications
  • MCSD: SharePoint Applications

Although these 13 certs are set to retire on the 31st of March 2017, some of the exams that make up these certifications will not. What this means is that although the Microsoft certification portfolio has been restructured, you will still be able to take some of those same exams, just as an elective for a new MCSE/MCSD certification.

You May Have a New Certification Already!

Microsoft have sought to make the transition between certifications as smooth as possible as they “recognise your efforts in keeping your existing certifications up-to-date”. If you currently hold an active MCSE and/or MCSD certification from the list below, then you’ll automatically earn the corresponding new MCSE or MCSD certification. You won’t even be required to pass any more exams!

  • MCSE: Server infrastructure
  • MCSE: Private Cloud
  • MCSE: Data Platform
  • MCSE: Business Intelligence
  • MCSE: Enterprise Devices and Apps
  • MCSE: SharePoint
  • MCSE: Communication
  •  MCSE: Messaging
  •  MCSD: Universal Windows Platform
  • MCSD: Web Applications
  • MCSD: SharePoint Applications

Additionally, if you have completed a qualifying elective exam since January 1st 2016, then you will be eligible for the new MCSE or MCSD certifications without taking any additional exams, on the condition that you meet all the exam requirements.

If you currently have an inactive MCSE or MCSD certification, you have the choice of taking a recertification exam or a new exam from the electives list corresponding to that specialist certification.

Below we’ve offered some practical examples of certifications you may hold and the new certification equivalents you may have just earned:
