Most nations asks Google to remove data which it considers sensitive, or information which it feels  should not be for public consumption .The above chart shows which nations have asked Google  for removing user data, or collection of data which it wishes to investigate. For example, some content removals are requested due to allegations of defamation, while others are due to allegations that the content violates local laws prohibiting hate speech or adult content. Laws surrounding these issues vary by country, and the requests reflect the legal context of a given jurisdiction. While some amount of  surveillance is needed to stop acts of terrorism, war, Plotting against a religious group   Jihads, or hackers . There are some requests for " unnecessary eavesdropping that goes against the privacy of an individual 

Though the internet is still the biggest "enablers " of world citizens" in shaping the world . Web Neutrality or Internet Democracy are still miles away

The request are not only from Google, the biggest destination site in the world, accessed by over 90% of web users.. but these request are also from Youtube, Google , Adwords, (orkut which no longer exists)
