The US retail industry’s advertising spending on paid digital media will hit $9.42 billion in 2013 and rise to $13.50 billion by 2017, for a 10.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), according to a new eMarketer report
The Retail Industry continues to be the key driver when it comes to online spending.
- Emarketers latest chart from emarketer,shows the Largest Spender in US Digital Advertising -are Retail, Financial services and Auto companies
- Retail digital spending to stabilize around 22% and highest in the industry
- Next is the Financial Services where spends on digital would be around 12%, same for auto sector , Telecom , and Consumer goods
- Travel industry online spends would be approx 7% of its ad spends,
- Media, entertainment healthcare and pharma are the lowest spenders when it comes to digital with spend between 4 to 6% of the ad budgets on digital marketing platform
